This ring comes between the camshaft gear and the camshaft bearing of the mentioned models (under the tab at the bottom of the page).

Don’t mess around and use this original washer, it has exactly the right dimensions and is of the right material. Just one parameter has to be different and you will, in the long run, incur engine damage.
