This O-ring is around the oil drain plug so that the oil stays neatly in the block when the plug is screwed in. If you see at the oil change that the ring is damaged replace it, otherwise you will lose engine oil drop by drop. That causes oil stains on the floor and thus whining, and at some point you may end up with too little oil in your block due to the leakage with all the consequences.

Change the fluids in your scooter on time including engine oil. A simple job you can do just fine yourself, but remember to do it at the following intervals: 500, 1500, 4000 and then every 3000 kilometers.
