The original oil pump found in 4-stroke scooters and motorcycles from Piaggio with a 50 to 100cc engine.

The importance of a working oil pump we hopefully do not have to explain, nor does the importance of using original parts.

If you take apart parts that have a gasket between them, always replace the gasket.

This gear drives the oil pump. If the hole has eroded or the teeth have become very sharp replace it.

Through this chain, the oil pump is driven on many 4-stroke models that roll out of the Piaggio factories.

Black is the new gray. In other words, if it is gray or chrome, it should be replaced with a black one.

So also this oil sump pan, instead of having the whole block coated, this is the next best thing.

This clamp holds the rear brake line. The clamp itself is attached to the oil pan.

Always use original parts and don't secure things with tie-wraps or duck tape. You are not riding a La Souris but a real Vespa!

When you open or disassemble the sump pan you will need to replace the gasket.

Indeed, the risk is far too great that it will be damaged during that action, resulting in oil leaks.

Level the amount of oil in your engine regularly; too little oil is disastrous for any internal combustion engine.

If you lose the original dipstick, the oil will sputter out of the hole and you won't be able to take a reading. If so, order a new one ASAP.

This O-ring is around the dipstick used to check the level of engine oil.

This plate or cover slides over the crankshaft and covers the gear that drives the oil pump.

It is complete incl. the retaining ring, butt rubber and O-ring. Although these parts are also available separately.

This retaining ring is in the cover that slides over the crankshaft, on the variator side of the block. If it is leaking and the rest of the lid is still good, you only need this one.

Other parts of that cover that you may need are the butt rubber and the O-ring.
